I am so thankful for this book. In the midst of our crazy busyness overload and virtual friend fascination, this book hits right at the heart of true friendship. Trend Breakers speaks to women who are missing that connection of a true friend for whatever reason and gives practical and simple (yay!!!) advice on how to break from the friendship norms and go deeper. I was introduced to this book at a time in my life when I was struggling to find true friendships. This book is absolutely amazing. Great biblical insight, easy to read, practical applications - a MUST READ. So thankful for this!!
This book is a must-read for all women. It offers practical, biblical advice for cultivating and improving true friendships-the way God intended them to be. Kelly gives practical ideas to encourage that kind of friendship despite the busyness we all face. The questions she asks at the end of each chapter will cause you to evaluate your friendships and the kind of friend you are to others. I learned so much from this book. It is an easy read and I promise it will encourage you!

Appreciated the format used--chapter info followed by questions which encourage the reader to actively engage with the material.
Kelly uses a nice mix of personal experience, Biblical encouragement, and practical advice for navigating the waters of what can be a highly frustrating world for many women. Life is so busy, and often chaotic, for many of us these days. She encourages us to take a moment--to breathe--and re-evaluate this very vital area of friendship.

I enjoyed reading this book on my own, but it would also be so good for a women's Bible study group. Kelly does a great job of referencing scripture throughout - she clearly has a great working knowledge of the Bible and what it says about friendships. Her questions at the end of each chapter are challenging and thought provoking. Also, she provides a number of fresh ideas for improving our friendships and quality activities to cultivate friendships. I would definitely recommend this book.
I was never the girl with a ton of friends. A few good ones have come and gone over the years. And making true friends never has come easy for this guarded introverted. But it seems even more difficult now that I am a wife and mom. Should it really be this hard?! This book is full of blessed words of encouragement about friendship. Kelly has such a way with words that it makes you feel as though she is curled up in the chair next you having a sweet talk between friends!
